Symbolic Migration Lessons

Dear Friends,
Our class received a cluster of Symbolic Butterflies that were cared for
this winter by Irving Jossiel Ballestoras Ruiz of Mexico City. They spent
the winter in Mexico with butterflies from the following states.
Cushing Elementary, Delafield, WI
Cadillac High School, Cadillac, MI
Dickerson School, Chester, NJ
All Saints Regional Catholic School, Manahawkin, NJ
Crestridge School, Omaha, NE
Southside Elementary School, Nortonville, KY
Anchorage School, Anchorage, KY
Marie Murphy School, Wilmette IL
Horace Mann School, Washington, D.C.
In addition we received four tagged butterflies.
Mario Soaros, a tourist, tagged a butterfly from the Jefferson School in
Waupun, WI.
Ave Melgoza, also a tourist, tagged one from
Raymond Central Elementary, Ceresco, NE.
Alewanda Valdecoin tagged a butterfly from
Belleisle Elementary School, Springfield, NB, Canada.
Lastly Juavier Martinez tagged a butterfly but its origin is unknown
because the label fell off.
