Clues from the Mystery Classes

If you are entering the Mystery Class contest, be careful not to jeopardize all the hard work you and your students have dedicated to this activity. Be sure to follow the Instructions and Rules carefully (which are provided below in the Checklist).

Please Remember--Winning Isn't Everything!
Sometimes we all focus too much on winning. So please be sure to remind your students that first and foremost, Mystery Class is about learning. The contest portion is secondary.

Before going any further, we want to send a special thanks to our astronomy expert, Rod Nerdahl. For many years Rod has carefully researched and provided us with standard sunrise/sunset and latitude/longitude data to keep our listings "on time". Plus we thank Rod for his insights about testing the Egg balancing on the Equinox myth. Ad astra (To the stars), Rod!

We'd also like to thank the ten secret Mystery Sites, but since you're still top secret, we'll save our full thanks for a few more weeks. Then, we'll tell the world all about you, and we can't wait!

The secret sites have all worked so hard. And we'll learn more when we read their written Introductions on May 5.
