Favorite Field Trip to Bagamoyo:
Bagamoyo was the grade four field trip this year. It is a city about 75 km from Dar es Salaam. It is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it was at the center of slave trading. During our field trip, we learned a lot, especially about slave trading and where the slaves were kept as they were being moved to different places in Africa. We also visited the ruins and were fascinated. In addition to all the learning we experienced on the trip, we also had time later for some fun, and we swam, played games or ate snacks. Bagamoyo was a great field trip.
