Mr. Don Davis tagged a monarch butterfly at 2:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, August 31st. The green marker on this map shows where he tagged it. Three days later, on Wednesday, September 3rd, a woman found the monarch nectaring in her family's garden in Toronto. By chance, she met Mr. Davis at a butterfly festival and happend to tell him about her discovery! The butterfly had traveled 85 miles (140 kilometers), to the place marked with a red marker on the map. |
