| The All Sightings map shows all monarchs people report, whether one butterfly or thousands. The purpose of this map is to show monarch distribution, and how it changes with the seasons. | The Overnight Roosts map shows where people report roosts during fall migration. Roosts contain large numbers of monarchs, so the roost map shows distribution and abundance of migrating monarchs. Week by week, the roost map reveals the main migration pathway to Mexico. |
