Roosting in Canada
Mr. Jim Ellis is part of a team of volunteers in Canada and the USA who tag and release monarchs each fall at this time, as the butterflies nectar and put on fat for their journey to Mexico. "Occasionally we are fortunate enough to witness large gatherings of monarchs as they roost for the night, and this happened last night here in Oshawa, Ontario." August 30, 2012
