Peak Migration
A strong north wind swept monarchs to the Maine coast last weekend. Two people reported peak migration from Kittery Point:

"We observed thousands of monarch butterflies at Ft. Foster, an oceanside town park. It was like being in a dream sequence, nature at its most amazing!" wrote Libby Clark.

"Absolutely amazing!!!" exclaimed Lisa Munoz who snapped this picture. She estimated there were at least 1,000 monarchs!
