Small for Texas
"They're here! I think the rain caused a fallout. I watched this afternoon and the clusters have just kept growing," exclaimed Carol Cullar on Monday. This small-for-Texas gathering contained about 400 butterflies. The monarchs only clustered loosely in Carol's backyard in Eagle Pass, maybe because of the warm overnight temperatures.
