Peak in Texas
People across the state of Texas reported hundreds of hungry, nectaring monarchs.

"We're still under peak migration here in Dallas. The Goldenrod has finally bloomed enough that the Monarchs are interested. I captured one in flight just before it landed on a flower. I thought it was interesting to see the wings completely flapped forward and the body hanging behind. I never knew their wings flapped forward like this, since it's impossible to see in real time."
