In Minnesota, New London/Spicer Middle School is providing important stopover habitat.
"For the last 3 days (August 28-31) we have observed more then 100 monarchs in the cedars and ash trees bordering our school nature area. During the day many monarchs are enjoying the blazing star, coneflowers, and sunflowers."
