Unusually large numbers of monarchs were reported from Colorado again this week.

"As we drove 8 miles we noticed 5 different locations of junipers. There were at least 3,000 roosting in this area overnight, probably more. It was about 11:30 a.m. and the monarchs were beginning to move. They were just warming up and taking off."
