Considering that it's October, migration was unusually strong in Canada this week. Among the migrants on their way is a special butterfly from Essex Public School in Ontario.
"Shadow emerged on a cloudy, rainy day. It was "Superhero Day" at our school. What good timing on her part because monarchs are superheroes of a sort given the epic journey they make. We waited until later in the day when her wings had dried to tag her but, alas, it was raining so we had to put her back in her container. The rain stopped after the grade ones had gone home so Mrs. Dufour-Rickeard released her then."
