Where are the monarchs now?

In what states does this map show migrating monarchs? (Include the Mexican and U.S. states.)

Something to Think About
When you look at the migration map this week, think EGGS. Think about a trail of eggs that stretches at least 1,300 miles, from the overwintering sites in Mexico to a roadside in Arkansas. That's how far the monarchs have traveled. Think about habitat, too. The monarchs can only lay eggs where they can find milkweed. And think about time. It's April. This is the last month in the lives of the monarchs that over-wintered in Mexico.
