Dr. Bill Calvert's description of monarchs preparing to leave Mexico reads like poetry:

"Flying in a frenzy, a golden flow, an explosion of orange, a blizzard of butterflies — flapping, gliding, mating, drinking—so many monarchs we could scarcely breathe...."
