Still Holding On!
Nearly 2,200 miles from her winter home in Mexico, this faded female found milkweed in a Pottstown, Pennsylvania garden on Sunday. Monarchs live for only 2-6 weeks during the breeding season, but those that overwinter in Mexico live much longer. Assuming this butterfly was born last August 15th, how old would she be now?
