"I had a chance today to check out the milkweed plants in our pasture. I counted 37 eggs, most with one egg per plant. Thirty first instar larvae, most being born today it seemed (one I witnessed). I also saw 7 monarchs flying low over the pasture. Truly delighted to see the monarchs and their offspring!" wrote Kathy Metzger from Dobbin, TX.
