Little
egg, big hope!
A single monarch butterfly can lay hundreds of eggs. During spring migration,
each female monarch leaves a trail of eggs behind her as she travels.
The monarchs that complete the migration later this spring will come from
these eggs. They will be the children of the monarchs that spent
the winter in Mexico. As you track migration this spring, think about
what the next generation of monarchs will need. When and where will they
find what they need?
