Eggs on Milkweed
Notice multiple eggs were laid on these tiny, newly-emerged plants. When monarchs move into areas where milkweed is just beginning to emerge, we often see behavior called egg-loading.

"First adult observed and just watched it lay these eggs," said Brad Guhr who reported the first monarch for Kansas on April 2nd.
