Near Tender Tip
The soft, flexible, tender tips of milkweed plants are a likely place to find monarch eggs. The plant tissue there — called meristem — contains actively dividing cells that don't have the rigid cell walls that mature cells do. When the eggs hatch, the tiny larvae will be able to feed on tender milkweed.
