Challenge Question for YOU:
Want to know something interesting? Snow Buntings come INTO our village after the Iditarod teams leave and it's quiet in town again. They are attracted by the straw seeds that are left behind from the teams that rest outside of our school. What we can't figure out is, HOW DO THEY KNOW?? Do buntings smell the straw? The dogs? How do they know? On off-years, when the race doesn't come through our village, we don't see them. What do you think? We're anxious to hear what you have to say!
