Feathers Fluffed
This robin has fluffed and puffed its feathers on a cold winter day. How does its plumage, with layer upon layer of feathers, keep Robin dressed right for any weather? Learn more in this week's report!

Kansas: "We have had Robins all winter long at our heated bird bath. It is so cold that they are very fluffy."

Virginia: "It was very cold and windy (no higher than 20º). I had made at least 8 trips out to the patio with hot water to keep the bird baths thawed. My efforts were rewarded when 10 very plump-looking robins showed up to bathe and eat some of the berries remaining on the Japanese holly."
