Iowa: "Small wave of about a half dozen robins were in the trees, shrubs and on the partially snow-covered ground at 3:30 in the afternoon March 15. Temperature 51 degrees, mostly sunny. They were chirping and finding berries to eat. A cold front moved in overnight, but I saw several more clusters of robins on the south side of the hill at Pine Lake this morning, protected from the stiff breeze and 31 degrees."
Illinois: "The front lawn was covered with 22 robins! It was an amazing sight. The snow had melted and they were looking for food in the lawns after the rains. Not singing yet."
