Switching the Diet!
As temperatures warm, robins are eager to switch to a diet of tasty, high-protein earthworms. Rain and snowmelt soften the soil for earthworms to emerge. Watch how robins search in places where snow has melted. These are favorite hunting zones during migration as robins transition their diet from winter berries to summer worms and insects. This lucky robin has found a worm and is about to pull it out!
