Feeding the Family
Is this bird leading a bachelor's life, or does it have other mouths to feed? You can watch your backyard robins for clues to know the answer. Does he fly in , hop around, get a mouthful fo worms or insects, fly off and then come back? Or does he hang around one good source of food with little or no flying around? If you guessed that the robin is gathering food for its babies, you're right. He's not eating it, but gathering it to take to his babies.
