Amado Nervo Elementary - Sixth Grade
Amado Nervo Elementary is located in downtown Ocampo, main concentration point of the timber coming from the Sanctuaries' surrounding forests, to be sold as raw material.

This was a difficult class to begin, but when things settled down many students were really interested and showing high appreciation for the message about Monarchs. Many thanked Estela and the program for continuing the visit to this school after several years now.  

"We are so devoid of these kind of talks and exchange in our daily classes, teacher Estela," --they told me--.

 The fact of reaching these groups among  our local schools and students, is perhaps among of the main goals of Journey North, since once the message reaches them, they immediately realize that we are forgetting about caring of one main aspect, which is nature care, thanks to which our live is still possible in our region. The moment the presentation of Monarchs' life and miracle starts, the silence starts to dominate the athmosphere in the classroom and their faces start to acquire a stern and interest.
