This school is part of the Ejido El Rosario, and among the three closest schools within the first belt surrounding area to Sanctuary “El Rosario.”

Elementary education in many regions and small communities in our country are indeed facing big challenges. Children in the 1st - 3rd grades are hardly able to write and read fluently. As North American and Canadian children and teachers will notice, their drawings compliment the messages of friendship and preservation of Monarchs’s hábitat in our región.  The children show themselves so happy to see their symbolic Monarchs arriving to their school and are eager to participate! You should see the joy and fun they have while trying to complete and draw their letters!

Opening their gifts is indeed one of the best moments of the visit!

During break time, the boys mostly play foot-ball while the girls stay around talking and perhaps doing a small game as part of the converstion. All love to buy the delicious ice-cream.
