First graders from Maplewood, Minnesota wrote a message of gratitude.

"Thank you for taking care of the Monarchs over the cold winter months. It is really starting to get cold here in Minnesota. It is going to freeze tonight! We are glad many of the monarchs have made it to warmer places already, like Texas and New Mexico."
