Celebrate! Symbolic Butterflies are back! Students learn how to find your butterflies on the map. Teachers, you hold the key for students to find their butterflies. 	March 21 , 2008 The real and symbolic monarch butterflies are migrating north from Mexico right now. All 70,000+ are heading to Minnesota where we'll prepare them for the final leg of their journey. Watch your mailbox for their return by May 5th. Meanwhile, explore the photo galleries and see how the Symbolic Monarchs spent the winter in Mexico!
	February 28, 2008 Last fall, classrooms sent over $11,000 to Mexico for monarch conservation. Two stories this week are about the work the students' donations are supporting. The goal of both projects is to take pressure off the forest by helping local people find new ways to live and work.
	December 7, 2007 The Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary Foundation contributions are now tallied. Thank you for your generous support for the programs that help conservation efforts in this region! Try some monarch math: Imagine the paper butterflies carrying these funds on their migration. How much would each carry? Learn about the lives of the people in the sanctuary region. Practice Spanish as you read their stories.
	November 29, 2007 Your symbolic monarch butterflies have now safely arrived in Mexico. Find out how many days, hours and minutes it took, AND how many butterflies actually made the trip. 	Send a Monarch to Mexico 2007! This fall, the 12th annual "Symbolic Monarch Butterfly Migration" is taking place across North America. Students in the United States and Canada are creating thousands of paper butterflies that will migrate to their counterparts in Mexico for the winter. You're invited to join the celebration.
