Hi, we are from Ms. Pfaff's science classes in San Diego, California, USA. We studied plants in December and decided to be a part of this project as part of our studies.

Our school name is Montgomery Academy. We're a class of 7th graders. Our ages are 12, and 13 years old. We have a pet rat in our class, her name is Skittles. She is 3 years old. She is brown and very big.

We have one of the NFL (national football league) teams named the CHARGERS. They went to one of the Super Bowls in 1995 against the San Francisco 49ers.

We have the world renowned San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. The Wild animal park has different kinds of animals. Some people might think it is the same as the zoo, but it is not.

The zoo has smaller enclosures for the animals and in the Wild Animal Park the animals are allowed to roam free in a habitat similar to their native land.

In San Diego we are known for our good weather and sunny days. It doesn't snow here, but it snows in a location about 45 minutes away.

We are close to the Mexican border and have a strong Spanish influence on our language and culture. Most jobs require the employee to be bilingual in Spanish and English.

We have a had a lot of fun doing this project and want to say "THANKS" to Journey North.
