News Flash: Ice-out on Finland's River Teno
What makes the springs always so special here are the light nights; today the sun rose at 3.34 AM and set at 10.49 PM. About a fortnight and we'll enjoy the midsummer sunshine day and night! Many local people prefer fishing in the River Teno at night. But it still takes some time for the salmon to head upstream after all the ice blocks are gone. Best regards, Annikki Lauerma No Winner! We received no contest entries for the River Teno for a good reason! The early ice-out caught us by surprise and we hadn't yet asked for your entries. OOPS!
