    It is a great time of year to watch classrooms from all over the continent excitedly report in about their tulip gardens! The tulips are responding to warmer temperatures and we are ready to measure and record their data. How do the gardens on February 8, this year compare to Februarys the past two years? Study and compare them. Use Journey North charts and directions to find how many growing degree days (GDD) your tulips will need to bloom.
