Virginia Students
Venable Elementary School students are tracking seasonal change in their own schoolyard. How do you measure seasonal change? They measure outside temperature at different times of the day and their focus is a large Southern Red Oak tree in the front of their school.

"We have been taking pictures, observing, and drawing this big Southern Red Oak in front of our school. It is strong and big, and it is located on the left side of our school."
