American White Pelicans
The American White Pelican is one of the largest birds in North America, with a wingspan of almost 10 feet. It winters along the coasts, but breeds inland. American White Pelicans have arrived near Spur, Texas, on the White River Lake.

"There are at least 75 birds. Not sure if they're just passing through or plan to winter here," reported Jan Fulton.
