Eastern Bluebirds
Eastern bluebirds are beautiful. Males are a brilliant royal blue on their head and back and warm red-brown on their breast. Females are more subdued in color with tinges of blue in the wings and tail.

"A flock of 8 bluebirds showed up on my front porch looking for food. Never had them before, don't know why they are here this year...but am thrilled! Bluebirds are omnivores, eating insects, fruits, and seeds. Luckily, I had a container of mealworms and seed." Westhampton, Massachusetts 02/12/14
