Harris's Sparrow
The range of the Harris's sparrow comprises an area from Texas north through the middle of the continent to the far northern tundra in Canada. This sparrow is the only bird species that breeds only in Canada.
"Observed a flock of about 20 Harris' sparrows which are not common at all in western Wisconsin. These were probably migrating up to the far Arctic so they had a long way to go yet." 05/17/14   Rhinelander, Wisconsin
