Northern Waterthrush
Look for this bird near slow-moving streams, ponds, swamps, and bogs. In summer the Northern Waterthrush breeds in the northern forests of Canada and into western Alaska. They migrate a great distance each year from their wintering grounds in South and Central America.
"First migrating Northern Waterthrush this year. They are always a thrill." 05/22/14
