Territory
Migrating bald eagle nesting pairs often return to their nesting territory this time of year. It is a time for re-establishing ownership on former nests and territories, for all mature eagles whether migrating or year-round populations.

"A bald eagle caught a fish from the man-made pond behind our house and roosted in a high tree limb for about 45 minutes eating it. Later up to six crows harrassed it — squawking for about 90 minutes," reported Paul on December 17.
