Countdown to Migration: October 7, 2005

Chick Chat: Ready for Migration?
With departure just days away, how does Team Leader Joe Duff feel about flying with a record flock of 20 chicks? “I’m scared!” he said with a hearty laugh.

Kidding aside, the team isn’t worried about the birds’ endurance. They ARE worried about the birds turning back early in the flight. Like many youngsters, the chicks are afraid to leave home the first time.
What will happen? We'll know next week!
