Winds
and Snow: No Go
(+0 Miles)
October 12, 2006: Migration Day 8
Snow??!
Yep. A bit of snow on the ground and flurries
all around—AND unfavorable winds. The weather is
keeping them stuck at Stopover #2 in Juneau County, WI for another
day
or
two.
Meanwhile,
the team and birds still need to eat and keep everything in readiness. It
all costs money, and every penny helps.

Today's
Journal Question: What's so unusual about #619's leg
band? Click on the photo to see. Then click on "your
bird's" story page to see if notes have been added.
Even if no migration notes appear yet, tell why your bird still
deserves the spotlight.
