Ready for Flight
By July 31, cranes #1 and #2 could fly. The other young cranes were nearly ready for flight. Two of last year's trainee cranes, now adults, often drop in to watch the Class of 2013 youngsters race along behind the small aircraft that will lead them on their first migration. Do you see the adults?
