"Ground School" in Maryland
Brooke (and all trainers) always wear the full costume when with the chicks. Here Brook carries the long-necked version of the Whooping crane puppet used to teach when teaching the chicks. Brooke is walking with the young chicks to a training session ("Ground School") at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, where the chicks hatched and spent their first weeks.
