July 12, 2014: Chick #7 has the white leg band. She is exploring the grass training runway at Wisconsin's White River Marsh. Do you see the large enclosure for the chicks? The ultralight aircraft parked on the grass near the wooden gates to the enclosure. The costumed crane handler stays near to help the chicks feel safe and easy in their new home.
