New Aircraft!

July 14, 2014: Why did the chicks seem aloof today? Three followed, but from a distance, and the other four went in the opposite direction! It took the team some time to realize the issue: Pilot Richard had flown into the training site with one of Operation Migration's new aircraft! Richard’s patience and a big supply of mealworms for treats won the chicks over. Soon all of the youngsters seemed quite comfortable with the new and improved aircraft that will lead them on their first journey south this fall. See how fast the chicks are changing!
