Personality and Training:
Chick #W3-15 hatched in the wild on Necedah NWR to parents #10-09 and #17-07. After fledging, she was banded and fitted with a radio transmitter—all ready for her first southward migration with her mom and dad to teach her the route!
Sad news arrived when W3-15 was found dead in late September. Necropsy revealed an illness called aspergillosis was the cause of death.
