Still Waiting...

This is day 6 stalled in Grrreen County! Today's culprits are light rain and winds out of the east-northeast at 10-15 mph. But stay with us! Tomorrow looks promising. The forecast is for winds at only 3 mph and out of the northeast at 7am. Cross your fingers in hopes that the team can move south and cross into Illinois.

  • With the distance stalled at 93.8 miles gone, what's the average distance traveled per day since this migration started? How does it compare with the average you figured on day 4? Don't give up!
  • What was the longest flight the 2003 birds made during their migration south? (See your migration comparison chart for the answer, and mark another tally for no-fly days.)
