Migration Day 22
Hooray!
Last Stop in Illinois
|
Photo OM |
At
long last, the migration took off! They covered 56.8 miles.
Today's flight brought them to Kankakee County, the final stop in
Illinois. Did
all 14 birds fly? No. Eleven
birds made the flight, but #402, #412 and #419 traveled
by crate.
Try
This! Journaling Questions
- The birds
and trikes took off at 6:54 a.m. and landed at 8:04. How long was
the flight? How many total miles has the migration covered?
What state is next?
- Are you
marking your Migration
Comparison Chart each day? Note with
tally marks whether they flew or not. Write
any details you'll want to remember.
