Day 32
Stop #17 on the 17th
The young whooping cranes blew out of Coweta County, GA at 8:02 a.m. with sunny skies and 4 mph tailwinds. One
hour and 28 minute later, they had covered 52.1 miles and reached Marion County Georgia. The temperature was 48
degrees, so cooler temperatures made more comfortable flying conditions for the birds. Now they've come 934.3 miles!
