Day 35
Too Warm and Foggy to Fly
Today's heavy ground fog in Terrell County, GA won't burn off until mid-morning. By then the temperatures will
be too warm for the cranes to fly comfortably into Florida. This is the 14th day during this migration that the
team has been grounded because of unflyable weather. But Florida is the next stop!
Try This! Journaling Question
- Read the bird comments on our Meet the Flock page. What
else do you wish you could know about these birds? What do you predict for Crane #4 come spring?
