Day 37
No Go: Headwinds and Fog
Florida is still 60.1 miles away as the team is grounded by weather. Joe took a test flight after the fog lifted,
but ground speed of 16 mph indicated a 2.5-hour flight time to the next location--the first stop in Florida. This
would push the young birds to their limit, so the crew spent Thanksgiving Day in Cook County, GA, being thankful
for all the supporters who sent funds to help reach the goal.
