| The eggs are floated in a bucket of lukewarm water before they are collected. The position of the egg while floating indicates how far along in incubation the egg is. Any tiny movement of the egg in the water is a sign that the embryo inside is alive. The movement is also a clue if the embryo is strong or weak. |
